I will preface this post by saying that these plans are not set in stone, and may change depending on our budget, how much we like certain places, and other factors I can't even imagine yet. With that said, here is the rough plan that we have in place as far as where we will be going.
Our first two months will be spent in an apartment in Reykjavik, Iceland. After that we will be home in the US for a couple days before heading to our apartment by the beach in Tamarindo, Costa Rica for the last two months of 2010. From there we have a plane ticket booked to arrive in Buenos Aires, Argentina on December 31, 2010. We plan to spend a few months in Buenos Aires, possibly split up with extended side trips to Brazil and/or other parts of Argentina. Following Argentina, we would like to have some time in both Cusco, Peru and Cuenca, Ecuador, and we hope to make stops in Chile and Bolivia as well. After living in South America, our hope is to spend some time in Europe, where we would first target Spain, Prague, and Croatia, but would try our best to also see some other countries which could include Germany, France, Italy, Estonia, Hungary, and Poland to name some possibilities. Whether or not we will be able to make it to Europe remains to be seen.
